A place to come to teach, learn, and dialogue about painful and deep struggles that everyone in the church is dealing with.
I am a 44 yr old woman who has had a story that is full of God's hand and redemption. Therefore, I know a good deal about struggles in life. I long for the church to grow in vulnerability, walking with one another through the hard stuff and the joyful stuff. I am sure that part of my calling in life is to remind the church of the brokenness that exists so that we can care for it and pray for it.
I took a class this weekend on the history of the black church in America. Very good stuff. I took it because its another way that we can understand each other better. Race relations are so poor in this country. We need to do all we can to work on them. This is what the Bible calls us to.
